Microsoft has dropped the price of the top-of-the-line Xbox 360 Elite to $299, which had previously been the price on the middle-level 360 Pro.
The Pro, which is being discontinued, drops to $249. The cheapest 360, the Arcade, remains at $199.
The principal difference between the three is the size of the hard drive, with the Elite having a 120 GB drive, the Pro a 60 GB drive and the Arcade having no hard drive.
Now, I have to figure out some way to return the Pro I bought last month at the higher price.
