Gov. Bill Richardson is traveling to California today to take part in a multi-day tour geared toward promoting New Mexico tourism and economic development.
Richardson, along with Tourism Secretary Michael Cerletti and various civic and business leaders from around the state, will be meeting with counterparts in Los Angeles, Palm Desert and Mojave, the governor’s office just announced.
The trip includes scheduled tours of Virgin Galactic’s facility at Mojave Spaceport, Disney Studios and Dodgers Stadium.
Richardson is slated to return to New Mexico on Thursday.
