Gov. Bill Richardson will hit the political airwaves once again this weekend with an appearance on the popular NBC show “Meet the Press.”
Richardson will appear in person at the show’s Washington, D.C., studio on Sunday, according to the Governor’s Office.
He’ll take part in a panel, along with Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., to discuss immigration, financial reform and President Barack Obama’s domestic agenda.
Richardson, who also recently appeared on CNN’s “The Situation Room” to discuss Arizona’s controversial new immigration law, will travel to the East Coast tomorrow, a spokeswoman said.
On Monday, the two-term Democratic governor will remain in Washington, D.C., to attend the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Governors Summit. He’s scheduled to return to New Mexico on Tuesday.
“Meet the Press” airs Sunday at 9 a.m. in most New Mexico markets.
