Some Parking Rates Up at Airport

It’s going to cost a little extra to park all day at the Albuquerque International Sunport.

Starting Thursday, customers who park for more than six hours in the short-term parking area will be charged $10 for the day, an increase of $3 from current rates. The hourly rates remain unchanged.

The new daily rate for long-term parking will be $7. It used to vary depending on how long you stayed there.

The changes were approved by the mayor and City Council earlier this year.
