BREAKING: Stabbing in SE ABQ

Victim Is In Critical Condition; No Arrests Yet

A 35-year-old man is in critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times in a Southeast Albuquerque apartment, Albuquerque Police spokeswoman Trish Hoffman tells ABQJournal.com.

Police are questioning the man’s brother and a woman who apparently lived in the apartment on the 400 block of Georgia SE with the victim, Hoffman said.

“We’re trying to determine if it was a brother-brother altercation or how the woman may have been involved,” she said.

The victim was rushed to University of New Mexico Hospital, where he is in emergency surgery, Hoffman said.
