The consensus at our table was that the House Special Lo Mein ($7.95) was the best of the three dishes we ordered. The noodles were cooked just right and there was a cornucopia of shrimp, chicken and beef, plus slivers of broccoli, carrot, squash, snow peas, sprouts and bok choy. Not far behind was the Sesame Chicken ($8.95), which my daughter Sarah ordered. She had wished that the breading covering the chicken was crispier.
My wife’s niece Shelby got the House Special Fried Rice ($7.45), which came with ample amounts of shrimp, chicken and beef, plus peas and carrots.
The three dinners (including a large side of fried rice) were so plentiful that we brought leftovers home in three cartons. All of us enjoyed the leftovers the next day.
The young waiter was very attentive.
