APS Departments by Function, Budget

In response to a board member’s request, APS staff compiled a list of school district departments, their functions, budgets and numbers of employees. See today’s story for more context. In reading the list, note that it is mislabeled. This is the current budget for these departments, not recommended reductions for next year. It is also important to note that some departments include school-based employees who are paid through a central department. The Health and Wellness budget, for example, includes counselors and nurses.
