A Rio Rancho man who allegedly sexually assaulted and beat a woman on Monday that he had attacked on another occasion remains at large, according to Albuquerque police.
Moses Sparks, 25, allegedly severely beat a woman late Monday night causing her to sustain a fractured finger as well as multiple bruises, contusions and lacerations. A laceration to her chin required 10 stitches, according to Albuquerque police spokesman Sgt. Patrick Ficke.
Police say Sparks also sexually assaulted the woman.
Moses fled the area of Quartzite NW after the attack.
He is currently on probation for a previous domestic violence incident against the same victim.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for Sparks in connection with Monday’s incident. Sparks’ probation officer also has been notified.
