The month of October starts off with a little Rage (Oct. 4), a first-person shooter with players facing with a damaged world and a lot of crazies. It comes from game developer Bethesda, a company with a good track record for producing quality games, including the Doom series and the Fallout games.
Dark Souls (Oct. 4) is a dungeon crawler and a sequel to Demon’s Souls.
Batman: Arkham City (Oct. 18) sees the caped crusader leaving the confines of the musty old asylum of the acclaimed first game to do battle with the bad guys in an open world.
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One (Oct. 18) has the Lombax and his robot companion battling in four-player co-op action.
One of the heavyweights lumbering in, Battlefield 3 (Oct. 25) will bring somewhat more realistic war games to living rooms worldwide.
Silent Hill: Downpour (Oct. 25) continues the series of creepy horror survival games.
November: more warfare, deception, scrolls, assassins and a little bit of link.
