The great thing about ordering pizza is that it is so easy to share. In the case of the pizza I ordered from Giovanni’s Pizzeria, there were just two of us splitting it – my son Nate and I. Nate wanted the pineapple-chicken topping, his favorite, and I just wanted the basic cheese, my favorite. Deal! The cost was $12 for a 15-inch thin-crust pizza.
We got it to go but Nate was so hungry that he began eating it in the car before we got home. Yum, he said between bites. There was barely half of it remaining by the time we got home. It was delicious.
We also ordered a large tossed salad ($6.50). My son ate it all later. I never had the chance to ask for a share of it. He said the salad was crisp and fresh and he loved it. Though he took a couple of packets of ranch dressing from the pizzeria, he decided to eat it “dry,” meaning without dressing.
