A Veterans Day ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Rio Rancho Veterans Monument Park, which is located off of Southern Boulevard on Pinetree Road and adjacent to the Esther Bone Memorial Library.
The ceremony will feature several guest speakers, including city Mayor Tom Swisstack.
The Village of Corrales also is set to hold its first ever Veterans Day Parade. It starts at 10 a.m. at Corrales Road, near the intersection of Old Church Road, and heads 1.2 miles south to Jones Road.
