Deputy U.S. marshals on Monday arrested an Albuquerque woman for failure to appear in court on charges of abuse and neglect resulting in death, the U.S. Marshals Service said in a news release.
Penelope Wronski, 54, was arrested on the 11,000 block of Montgomery NE and was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center, where she was being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond in connection with the failure-to-appear charge.
The underlying charge stems from a June 2010 incident in which Wronski allegedly failed to care for her elderly mother, resulting in her mother’s death, according to the release.
