For a recent lunch, I ordered the 6-ounce original Spinn Burger ($5.85). The lettuce, tomato slices and a small cup of chopped onion were in the basket with it. I also got a side of jalapeño beans ($1.95), and I’m glad I did because I put the beans and the chopped onions in a single cup, stirred the ingredients and used a spoon to pour that concoction over the dry burger. It made a big difference in flavor and moistness.
My friend Pete ordered the New Mexico Philly Cheese, a small sandwich ($8.95), which came with a basket of sweet potato fries. The chopped green chile made the sandwich New Mexican. That spiked and enhanced the enjoyment of the sandwich. The fries, Pete said, were crispy and very tasty.
