The Sierra Club Rio Grande’s Northern New Mexico chapter has announced all its endorsements for the March 6 municipal election in Santa Fe.
The group has selected incumbent City Councilor Patti Bushee in District 1; attorney Peter Ives in District 2; former Santa Fe Fire Chief Chris Rivera in District 3; and former City Councilor Carol Robertson Lopez in District 4.
The chapter also is urging residents vote “yes” vote on a $14 million bond package for trails and parks and a $3.8 million bond package for arroyo improvements and a solar energy project at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center.
