The fire reported at a apartment complex at Central and Tramway apparently has been put out as of 5:30 a.m.. Officials are investigating the cause and we will report these details as they become available. It is unknown if there were any injuries.
Albuquerque Fire Department has been called to 220 Western Skies NE where an apartment is apparently on fire, according to an emial alert sent from the department public information officer.
The call was made to AFD just before 5 a.m. and the first units on the scene reported that smoke and flames were visible to firefighters as they arrived. More on this story as is becomes available.
