Albuquerque police are investigating a reported rape that occurred at TD’s Gold Club on Eubank NE early this morning, APD spokeswoman Ferris Simmons said.
Around 2 a.m., a female employee at the club called police to report that she had been raped.
Simmons said the victim was giving a regular customer a lap dance when he became aggressive and raped her during the lap dance. The victim was taken to the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners unit for treatment.
No one has been taken into custody for the offense, but Simmons said police know the first name of the offender. His name has not been released by officials.
