Second St. will be closed today and tomorrow between Rio Bravo and Desert Rd. due to a road collapse.
The collapse just south of Ray Barr Rd. was caused by a water main leak Tuesday night, according to a news release from Bernalillo County.
The repair should be completed by noon today, and the roadway will be paved on Thursday. The street is set to open for traffic on Friday.
Southbound traffic on Second St. will be detoured to Rio Bravo, to Broadway, to Desert Rd.
