UPDATED: Silver Alert issued for Albuquerque woman

The silver alert for Mabel Nolan has been cancelled. She was safely located and in good health, APD spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

 


 

The Albuquerque Police Department has issued a silver alert and is requesting the public’s help in locating Mabel Nolan, 79, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, a release from APD said.

According to the release, Nolan was last seen at 3:30 p.m. at 8200 Bates Road SE. She was wearing a pink parka, grey sweatshirt, dark grey sweatpants and white tennis shoes. She is 5’02″ and weighs 135 lbs.

Nolan said she was going to walk the about the residence and was found to be missing. The front gate was found open and there is a possibility she may have gotten into a pick-up truck at a nearby landscaping business north of the home, the release said.
If anyone has any information on Nolan’s whereabouts they are asked to contact APD at (505)242-2677.
