Last night, along with welcoming three new members, the Santa Fe City Council organized the various committees that make up the City Hall approval process and appointed members to the regional bodies where the city sends one or more representatives. City Councilor Rebecca Wurzburger was re-appointed to the position of Mayor Pro Tem.
Finance Committee: Councilor Carmichael Dominguez will chair, with Councilors Chris Calvert, Patti Bushee, Bill Dimas and Peter Ives serving as members.
Public Works/CIP & Land Use Committee: Wurzburger as chairwoman over Councilors Ron Trujillo, Chris Rivera, Calvert and Ives.
Public Utilities Committee: Calvert as chairman with Dominguez, Trujillo, Rivera and Dimas as members.
Bicycle and Trails Advisory Committee: Bushee.
Buckman Direct Diversion Board: Calvert, Dominguez and Bushee as alternate.
City Business and Quality of Life Committee: Wurzburger and Rivera.
Water Conservation Committee: Ives.
Community Development Commission: Wurzburger.
Mayor’s Youth Advisory Board: Dimas will serve as the City Council’s liaison.
Public Safety Committee: Trujillo.
Regional Juvenile Justice Board: Dimas.
North Central Regional Transit District: Bushee.
Santa Fe Metropolitan Planning Organization: Mayor David Coss, Bushee and Trujillo.
Solid Waste Management Joint Powers Board: Ives, Rivera and Dimas.
