Early Voting For Rio Rancho Runoff Elections Starts Wednesday

Beginning tomorrow, early voting for candidates vying for City Council Districts 4 and 6 will be conducted at Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Circle between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Runoff elections are required in those races because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the total votes cast in the March 6 municipal election.

In District 4, incumbent Steve Shaw is running against Mark Scott.

The District 6 runoff is between incumbent Kathy Colley and Lonnie Clayton. 

Only registered voters residing in District 4 and District 6 may vote in the runoff election. 

On Election Day, April 17, voters can cast ballots at any one of four polling stations:
* Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle 
* Meadowlark Senior Center, 4330 Meadowlark Lane 
* Mountain View Middle School, 4101 Montreal Loop 
* Soul Rio Community Church, 2003 Southern Blvd.
