National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition” today aired a profile of New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, whose is frequently mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate on the Republican ticket.
The profile explores Martinez’s views on some hot-button Hispanic issues, including her opposition to giving drivers licenses to people in the U.S. illegally, and her tough stance on illegal immigration generally. The segment also delves into the animosity those positions have engendered among some New Mexico Hispanics.
