Police say lanes are now opening on Second Street south of Paseo Del Norte as police clear a head-on collision between a car and a semi-trailer truck.
Bernalillo County Sheriff Deputies say the accident happene when a 64-year-old-man going north on Second drove his car head-on in to a semi-trailer.
Deputies say the semi was in the middle turn lane facing south. The man was taken to the hospital – right now his condition remains unknown.
Second Street is closed between Roehl and Los Ranchos Road NW because of a head-on collision involving a semi-truck and a car.
Victims were being taken to the hospital via Lifeguard helicopter, but their conditions were not known, according to KOAT-TV
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department is responding to the accident.
