One recent day I had postponed lunch from the noon hour to shortly before 4 p.m. I had decided to visit this restaurant whose sign I had seen for years.
I ordered the Cashew Chicken ($7.75), which is an enormous and satisfying meal. It came with a cup of soup; I chose the hot and sour, which lived up to its name. On the side was a small saucer of fried noodles.
No sooner was I enjoying the soup than out came the main course. Chicken strips and cashews were mixed in with large amounts of cubed carrots, cubed zucchini, onion slices, pieces of baby corn plus a few slivers of water chestnuts and bits of celery.

On the same plate was a mound of fried rice, an egg roll and two heavily battered, deep-fried pieces of fried shrimp; I ate the shrimp after peeling the batter and leaving it on the plate. On the side of that plate was a cup with half hot mustard and half sweet and sour sauce. I dipped forkfuls of food in both.
