Services Announced for Cleveland High Student Killed in Crash

Services have been announced for Adrian Garcia, a Rio Rancho teen who was killed in a head-on crash Thursday morning.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the concert hall of V. Sue Cleveland High School, 4800 Laban Road in Rio Rancho, according to Daniels Family Funeral Services.

There also will be a visitation at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Road, in Rio Rancho. The Rosary will be recited.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Incarnation. Interment will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 4310 Sara Road in Rio Rancho.

Garcia, a 16-year-old Cleveland sophomore, was headed to class along Paseo del Volcan about 7 a.m. Thursday when he crossed into oncoming traffic and ran head-on into a truck. He died in the crash.
