To Our readers
Do you want to be better organized? Strengthen your relationships? Become a stronger leader?
Check out Sage magazine’s website, abqjournalsage.com, and its new “Ask the Experts” panel.
Click on the “Ask the Experts” tag at the top of the site or scroll down and you will find the panel on the right.
This week three of the experts debut:
♦ Katie Snapp, author of “Skirt Strategies: 249 Success Tips for Women in Leadership,” leads off with business leadership tips for women.
The Albuquerque-based Snapp is the founder of Better-Leadership.com and specializes in guiding high-potential women on the path of success. Her first blog is about how to use intuition to lead.
In many of the reader focus groups Sage has conducted, women have said they want a forum where they can learn about how to cultivate their natural leadership skills. Snapp’s blog offers the chance to do just that.
♦ John Thurman, an Albuquerque marriage and family therapist with Christian Therapy Services, writes about ways to strengthen your marriage. His first blog is directed at men and is sure to make many women readers happy. The title? “Ways To Win a Woman’s Heart: Know Your Job Description.”
♦ Albuquerque professional organizer Elizabeth Tawney Gross, owner of Organizing for Everyday, adds a humorous twist to organizing in her first blog, “Amanda vs. A Professional Organizer,” about what to do with that freaky neat friend who keeps telling you to get organized.
All 10 members of the panel of experts will be introduced over the next few weeks, offering advice on everything from personal finance to parenting to life coaching.
Each will provide fresh blogs as often as once a week.
Our experts would love your comments and questions. Send them to sage@abqjournal.com or send them directly to the experts.
Also up on the site this week, the new “Our Community” page features a slide show from the Casa Angelica Auxiliary’s fashion show, which raised money for the home for children.
“Our Community” page showcases your friends and neighbors. Also on the page are candid shots from the Señorita Ball, which is presented by the Music Guild, and the Stone Soup Dinner, which raised money for St. Martin’s Hospitality Center.
If your organization has an event coming up and would like to be featured in a slide show, please let us know at sage@abqjournal.com.
UNTIL NEXT WEEK,
Carolyn Flynn, editor, Sage magazine
