AfterMath camps taking applications

Registration is open for this summer’s AfterMath camps, with sessions for middle and high school students.

The four-day camps are meant to “build confidence and competence in math skills.” Topics covered include everything from pre-algebra to trigonometry, with physical fitness, interactive career speakers and math-based science.

Full and partial scholarships are available on a sliding scale. Otherwise, the cost per student is $700, which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, four days of instruction and tutoring.

Camp sessions will be held throughout June and July. Register online at AfterMathCamp.com.

For more information, call 449-8810 or email info@aftermathcamp.com.

Eligible applicants must be 17-21 years old, and are now or have been in the foster care system for at least six months. The deadline is April 23.
