The Central New Mexico Community College governing board on Tuesday passed a $257.5 million budget for next school year, with no tuition increases for most students.
The plan includes a 3 percent raise for non-union employees, in addition to a onetime 2 percent pay supplement. That 2 percent could become permanent if the school doesn’t lose any funding by the end of the year. Union employees continue to negotiate with CNM.
The only change in costs for CNM student is a 50-cent increase in career education courses. The $10-per-class courses will now cost $10.50.
