Three men who were out to dinner on Friday were held up at gunpoint and two of them were forced to take off their pants.
Accused of the robbery in the Northeast Heights is 22-year-old Anthony Filipas, who police say used a handgun to rob the men, according to a criminal complaint.
The men were leaving the Dion’s restaurant on Wyoming and Paseo del Norte NE when Filipas and a woman approached them and asked for directions to Corrales. Filipas and the woman made small talk before Filipas allegedly pulled out a handgun and forced the men to give him their belongings the complaint states. Filipas told two of the men to take off their pants and hand them over, which they did.
Filipas and the woman fled the scene, but were found by police within minutes.
Filipas faces charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and tampering with evidence. Court records show the woman has not been charged.
