Three people are in custody facing felony drug charges following a raid Tuesday on a residence that turned up nearly three-fourths of an ounce of crack cocaine, $600 in cash, drug paraphernalia and items used to convert powder cocaine to crack, Curry County Undersheriff Wesley Waller told the Clovis News Journal.
Amelia Trujillo, 27, was being held on a $31,000 cash or surety bond after a search at the Curry County Adult Detention Center turned up an alleged 20 rocks of cocaine hidden in a body cavity, the News Journal said.
Deputies found three rocks of crack cocaine on 19-year-old Desiree Samora, Waller told the paper. She is being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond, jail officials said.
Keith Washington, 31, was arrested before a search warrant was executed for an alleged parole violation on a prior narcotics conviction, and he is being held without bond, the News Journal said.
