Safe Workplace Is APD Program Topic

The Albuquerque Police Department has a DVD information and training program for the business community called Operation Safe Workplace.

The training is in response to both community and business leaders requesting APD’s assistance in light of past incidence of workplace violence.

The DVD presentation features Sgt. Paul Szych, Lt. Mike Archibeque and Dr. Troy Rodgers, who have conducted “Operation Safe Workplace” seminars.

It focuses on predicting/preventing high-lethality events, by Szych; active shooter, by Archibeque; and who is most likely to become violent, by Rodgers.

Corporate requests for workplace violence training can be emailed to Pszych@cabq.gov. For more information, call 228-4707.
