Sandwiches are served on panini loaves, but you have a choice of whether you want a sandwich by itself or get it as part of a meal. I chose the latter.
I got the Turkey Pesto Panini meal ($7.75). The made-to-order sandwich was terrific. I got it on wheat ciabatta. It had a thick piece of turkey with melted mozzarella, grilled onion and chipotle pesto. Add 50 cents for a side of green chile.
The rest of the meal included chips, a cookie, a drink and a pickle wedge. The person waiting on me allowed me to substitute a candy bar for a bag of chips. My drink was a glass of refreshing raspberry iced tea. The cookie was oatmeal raisin.

The restaurant calls itself “Coffee for a Cause.” That’s because it is an employment training center for people leaving homelessness. It is run by St. Martin’s Hospitality Center, and all food sale proceeds support St. Martin’s programs.
