It’s starting to become a summer tradition.
For seven years, DXS Dance Xperience has held a dance event showcasing original choreography. This year is no different. The dance company presents its annual event at 7:30 tonight and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the South Broadway Cultural Center, 1025 Broadway SE. The show features nearly 20 dance pieces that range from hip-hop and contemporary to jazz. There also is a lindy-hop piece done by the award-winning group Groove Juice Special.
The events will be hosted by local comedian Sarah Kennedy. Tickets are $15 and are available at www.holdmyticket.com or 886-1251.
