Fair To Honor Firefighters Today

It’s Firefighters Day, Smokey Bear Day and Red Ribbon Relay at the 2012 New Mexico State Fair today. Firefighters in uniform will be admitted free.

Gates open at 9 a.m., and the weather is expected to be cool and sunny to start with a forecast high of 74, according to the National Weather Service.
