The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office will auction off vehicles seized from repeat drunken drivers at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The auction will be conducted by Bentley’s Auction at the sheriff’s office, 35 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe.
There will be a vehicle preview from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
The Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfeiture Ordinance allows the sheriff’s office to seize vehicles from drivers who have been arrested for the third time on DWI charges and have been convicted of at least two prior DWIs, the news release said.
