Nibbles: Sharon’s Gourmet to Go

My wife and I phoned in an order for dinner for two ($12.50 each) after asking the owner, Sharon Levin, what she could prepare for pickup in a few hours.

Levin gave me the choices, and we chose the cabbage stuffed with ground turkey and rice in a mildly spicy sweet and sour sauce. The stuffed cabbage, one for each of us, was as big as a fist and just as tasty. It came with sides of fresh, crisp green beans and six scrumptious potato-filled pirogies (three for each of us) on a bed of grilled onions. Each of those items was packaged in separate aluminum foil containers with heating instructions printed on top.

The business is a kitchen, so all orders are to-go. Levin said people may order by phone, by email at catering@gourmet2goabq.com or go to the website www.gourmet2goabq.com.

Sharon’s Gourmet to Go
LOCATION: 3400 Constitution NE, Suite D, 880-0057 or 804-8000
HOURS: No set hours

There is no menu. Levin said customers can ask for what they want to eat and she’ll make it. She offers a full range of ethnic foods as well as gluten-free, low-sodium and sugar-free foods.
