Albuquerque Fire Department crews were dispatched to a reported house fire on the 800 block of Vassar NE just before 6 a.m. and found smoke pouring out of a single-story residential building, AFD said in a news advisory.
The fire was located in a crawl space and was extinguished in less than 45 minutes, the AFD said.
The house was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported, firefighters said. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
