APD Gang Unit officers have arrested Richard Gallegos in connection with a shooting at an Albuquerque strip club on Sept. 29.
An email from APD spokeswoman Tasia Martinez described Gallegos as an “accomplice” in the shooting at Fantasy World near Interstate 25 near Midtown Albuquerque, but it did not say what he is charged with.
Gallegos has not yet been booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center, according to jail records.
Isaac Montoya, 33, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and tampering with evidence.
Police have said Montoya and Gallegos were thrown out of the club and allegedly fired several rounds and hit two security guards at the club’s door as they were driving away. Both guards were shot in the leg and their wounds weren’t life-threatening.
