Breaking: Pacheco Named Interim President at NMSU

New Mexico State University Board of Regents has appointed Manuel Pacheco intermim president to fill the vacancy left by Barbara Coutoure last week.

Pacheco previously served as interim president at NMSU in 2009 and before that at Highlands University. Regents will meet Oct. 15 in Carlsbad to ratify a one-year contract for Pacheco with a salary not to exceed $360,000.
