KEYSTONE, Colo. (AP) — Colorado’s ski season is getting under way.
Arapahoe Basin is starting its season with an 18-inch base, one lift running and one intermediate trail open today.
The ski area is the first in Colorado to open for this winter.
A-Basin is located in the White River National Forest on the west side of Loveland Pass on U.S. 6 in Summit County, about 68 miles from Denver.
