More than 30 high school marching bands from New Mexico, Texas and Colorado covered the turf at University Stadium in Albuquerque on Saturday — the site of the Zia Marching Band Fiesta.
The 35th annual event started shortly after 8 a.m. with preliminary competitions. The final competition featured the top 10 bands from the preliminary event.
