Voting: There’s an ‘app’ for that

Bernalillo County just released its voting app for iPhones, and, well, it’s pretty cool.

In addition to basic information, it shows which voting locations are closest to me and includes the estimated wait time at each spot. Most of the places near Downtown have no wait times, according to the app, except for Student Union Building at UNM, which has a seven-minute wait.

Try it out, and let me know if it’s helpful. Early voting is, of course, already underway. You can get the voting app here.

Now I just have to figure out how I feel about all those bond issues, proposed amendments and other down-ballot items.
