The sun will come out next weekend

New Mexico Young Actors will present “Annie Jr.,” a 75-minute adaptation of the popular Broadway hit formatted for children to enjoy. Annie is the red-headed orphan who escapes the clutches of Miss Hannigan and sings and dances her way into the heart of billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

Special school performances will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, Thursday, Nov. 8, and Nov. 12 and at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9. For more information on the school performances call Rick Nickerson at 821-8055.

Public performances will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, and Nov. 11 at the KiMo Theatre, Fifth and Central NW. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available KiMoTickets.com or by calling 768-3544.

New Mexico Young Actors is celebrating its 33rd season.
