Nibbles: Thai Tip Restaurant

At Thai Tip, you’ll find an extensive menu, friendly service and an eclectic décor.

A friend and I split an order of Vegetarian Potstickers ($4.95), little fried dumplings served with a dipping sauce. They were cooked just right, without even a hint of grease.

For my entree, I ordered the Stir-Fry Silver Noodles: clear noodles stir-fried with onions, carrots, egg, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, snow peas and a choice of meat, seafood or tofu. I chose the tofu ($10.75). The combination of noodles with fresh vegetables and nicely seared tofu was excellent.

My friend opted for the Red Curry with pork ($12.75), medium hot. The Red Curry – pork, bamboo shoots, fresh basil, and slivers of bell peppers, all swimming in a coconut milk sauce – arrived in a whimsical blue and white bowl shaped like a fish. Rice, in the shape of a teddy bear, was served on a separate plate. After her first bite, my friend summed up her opinion in one word: “marvelous.”
