Police have just reopened eastbound Paseo del Norte at Coors following crash cleanup at an earlier rollover crash on Paseo approaching 2nd Street, according to KKOB.
No word yet on what caused the crash or what injuries there were, if any.
8:52am UPDATE: Paseo East Closed at Coors
Police have now closed eastbound Paseo del Norte at Coors Boulevard because of an earlier rollover crash on eastbound Paseo approaching 2nd Street, according to the latest KKOB traffic report.
Eastbound drivers are urged to seek alternate routes on Alameda or Montano, although KKOB is reporting a new crash on southbound Coors at Montano Plaza NW that has blocked the left lane and is complicating traffic in that area.
8:27am UPDATE: All eastbound lanes of Paseo del Norte between 4th and 2nd have been shut down because of an earlier rollover crash, KKOB’s Joe Gonzales is reporting. Drivers not already caught in the backup are urged to find an alternate route.
8:25am — Paseo East Shut @ 2nd
A rollover crash on eastbound Paseo del Norte approaching 2nd Street has blocked two right lanes and is causing a traffic backup, according to KKOB Radio’s traffic reporter Joe Gonzales.
Crash cleanup is under way on an earlier collision on eastbound Interstate 40 about a mile east of the Rio Grande that had blocked the left lane, KKOB reported.
Southbound Eubank south of Indian School NE also was down to one lane because of a water main break, according to the traffic report.
