Nibbles: Christy Mae’s

I ordered Le Chicken ($9.29), which is a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The chicken salad was yummy – creamy and stuffed with pieces of celery and walnuts, sliced tomato and alfalfa sprouts. The side I chose was the fries, which were thick and good. They were piled so high I couldn’t eat all of them.

I started the meal with a cup of cream of chicken soup. It would have cost $1.99 but because I had a coupon it was free. It was so tasty. There were sections of white chicken and slices of mild green chile in the soup.

Even though I arrived at the height of the lunch hour, and the restaurant was pretty full, the service was fast and friendly.
