UPDATED: Mayor Appoints Meyers to Council

Mayor Richard Berry this afternoon appointed business owner Roxanna Meyers, a Republican, to the City Council to replace Debbie O’Malley.

O’Malley, a Democrat, joined the County Commission on Friday, making her resignation from the council official.

Meyers’ appointment will leave councilor District 3 still without a representative living within its boundaries. You can find the background here.
