Seven APS Students Suspended for Threat Rumors

Seven students at Manzano High School have been suspended for fabricating and spreading false rumors of safety threats, according to Albuquerque Public Schools.

The school district posted a statement Wednesday to its website, warning students that irresponsible threats will be taken seriously. In addition to the suspensions at Manzano, the statement said other students around the district face discipline for disrupting the educational process.

Pick up Thursday’s Albuquerque Journal for more on this story.
