Bechtel, Lockheed Martin and the new Y-12/Pantex contract: and then there was one

Back in 2005-06, there was a fierce bidding competition for the contract to manage Los Alamos National Laboratory between teams led by Lockheed Martin and Bechtel. The Bechtel-led team won.

But that was then, and this is now, when – all flowers and happiness – Bechtel and LockMart have found a way to just get along. From Frank Munger at the Knoxville News Sentinel:

The new contractor will be called Consolidated Nuclear Security LLC.
