NIbbles: Bella’s Restaurant and Catering

This restaurant advertises three broad food categories – Italian, American and Mexican. I picked Italian, ordering Spaghetti and Meatballs ($9.99). The amazing parts of this meal were the three gigantic and delicious meatballs served on a bed of spaghetti with marinara sauce and melted Parmesan. The plate also had two slices of garlic bread. I also got an extra cup of grated cheese to sprinkle over the dinner.

My wife ordered the Blackened Chicken Alfredo with spinach, tomato and mushrooms served on bow-tie pasta ($9.98). She liked it a lot. My son got the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo ($10.25) served with spinach and tomato in a Cajun spice mix that he really enjoyed. And my daughter chose the Taco Plate ($8.25) with three ground beef tacos, which came with Spanish rice. She loved the tacos but they were so large she left one to take home.

Because it was Saturday evening and my wife and I had gotten drinks with our meals – iced tea ($1.75) and hot tea ($1.50) – we qualified for a free appetizer. On our behalf our son chose the homemade fried onion rings.
