Train bringing The Script, DeGraw to Duke City

Hey, the train is coming to Albuquerque. That is, Train the band.

The Grammy Award-winning band is slated to perform on Aug. 6 at Isleta Amphitheater, formerly Hard Rock Casino Albuquerque Presents the Pavilion.

The Script and Gavin DeGraw are slated to open for the entire tour.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at www.livenation.com or www.ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000. Ticket prices have not been released for this event.

Train’s “California 37″ tour kicks off July 17 and runs until Aug. 14.

Train’s gold release “California 37″ was released in April 2012 and features the platinum hits “Drive By” and “50 Ways To Say Goodbye.” Train’s new single “Mermaid” is rocketing up the Pop/Hot AC chart, while “Bruises (feat. Ashley Monroe)” is making its way on the country chart.

Train will stop in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII performing at “VH1′s Best Super Bowl Concert Ever” airing on VH1 and VH1.com.

The multi-platinum selling band made its mark on music history with the Grammy Award-winning song “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” and chart-topping singles like “Meet Virginia” and “Calling All Angels,” earning its third Grammy in 2011 for the worldwide smash “Hey, Soul Sister” from “Save Me, San Francisco.” The top-selling single of 2010, “Hey, Soul Sister” hit No. 1 at radio in the U.S. and in 15 countries abroad. “Save Me, San Francisco” has sold more than one million albums worldwide and more than 10 million tracks.

The Script is touring in support of its current album, “3.” Their single, “Hall of Fame” was featured heavily during the London Olypmics.

DeGraw is touring in support of his latest album, “Sweeter,” which has spawned three radio hits.
